They came together completely by chance but forged a friendship that has since and will go on to withstand any trial. They are the four people that Starfire would trust unfailingly to have her back at any given moment. Robin is her best friend, and probably the dearest. He was the first to make contact with her and to Starfire's knowledge he was also the first to extend a helping hand out of kindness. He's brave and independent, determined, and unfortunately also somewhat stubborn and hot tempered. They might have started off on the wrong foot but it didn't take long for a genuine attraction to develop between the two. They've had their share of trials so far but they work always work through it. It's going to take a long while yet before they're ready to admit it to one another, though. Cyborg and Starfire have a deeper understanding than most of the other Titans because they both know what its like to want to fit in. Cyborg because he's half robot and Starfire because she's an alien a long way from home. Whenever one of them needs a pick-me-up they aren't far away to give it. They have a brother/sister type relationship and spend time bonding over work outs. If Robin was the first to show Starfire kindness then Raven was the first to show compassion and empathy. Her intervention is the reason that she was able to communicate with Robin and the others. The girls are total opposites but over time they come to embrace their differences and work well together. Starfire has learned to be more respectful of people's boundaries because of Raven. It just doesn't ALWAYS show. Cyborg is the big brother, so Beast Boy is definitely the little one. He's not really much like Wildfire but she cares for him as if he were just as close. Beast Boy is big on jokes and pranks, and they bond through humor. Starfire isn't afraid to make some of the less mature jokes from time to time. She's also one of the few Titans that will openly laugh at most of his antics. Together they are her teammates and her family, and Starfire always tries to do right by them. They've influenced her in ways both obvious and subtle, as role models and friends and heroes. They'll continue shaping her future experiences through eventual encounters.
